Record requests are done by completing the request form and sending it to records@wl.in.gov or by dropping it off in-person between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. The Records Division is located at 711 W Navajo Street, West Lafayette, IN 47906. The Captain of Special Services will review the request and respond to the requester within 48 hours of the time the form is received to inform the requester if the report is available and what the cost would be. If it is released, there will be a charge of $0.10 cents per page. If requesting video, photos, or audio recordings, there may be additional fees. The fee for audio and video can be up to $150.00, but not over that amount.
