The Rushville Police Department serves the City of Rushville 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The department employs two detectives, 13 patrol officers, two K9 officers, a full-time School Resource Officer, five communications officers, two part-time communications officers, and four volunteer officers. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program, police K9 demonstrations and illegal substance identification programs, and programs that provide information on how to stay safe during special events.
