The Greensburg Police Department consists of an Investigations Division, Patrol Division, and a Records Division. The Investigations Division is responsible for managing major crime scenes and coordinating on-scene investigations, investigating property crimes, investigating personal crimes, death investigations, and investigating domestic violence crimes. The Patrol Division is responsible for answering service calls in the City 24/7. These officers respond to both simple calls and dangerous calls. When not responding to calls, the Patrol Division practices proactive policing.
